The R5 is MOZA’s premium entry base: 5.5 Nm of direct torque in a compact aviation-grade aluminium chassis, for those wanting a bit more force than the R3 without jumping to a big base. It is usually sold bundled with the ES wheel and SR-P Lite pedals, making it a complete starter kit. It runs a 15-bit magnetic encoder (32,768 PPR) and 1000 Hz USB refresh, and its size makes it ideal for desk setups. In Automobilista 2 it works well in touring cars, classics and light formulas; in GT3 or high-load categories the torque feels tight, but it is a solid, upgradeable starting point.
