Node Manager 6.6: your AMS2 server, easier to share and to run
23 Oct 2026Share the Node Manager with a friend from About — link, WhatsApp, Telegram, X, Facebook or Reddit — and they get the setup guide in their language, with the download. Pick your highlight colour, read every release note and copy your node’s details for support without showing keys or IP. And as always: mod cars and tracks, control from the website, a minimum licence and updates that only install if we signed them.
Run your own serverPilot Manager 5.0: your replays, your community and your notifications, in one app
23 Oct 2026Open any AMS2 replay and see the whole race — every lap time, race pace and telemetry for every car — and share it with the drivers from that race. Your community now lives inside the Pilot: its board, its league, its server and the next event with a reminder. Plus your GonkyRacing notifications in a bell, Ready / Go to open your programs and the game in two clicks, a cleaner menu and settings, and updates that only install if we signed them.
Discover the Pilot ManagerPilot Manager 4.6: your mods install instantly and you’re told about every update
12 Oct 2026Mods you add yourself install straight away, and only that mod: the rest are no longer reinstalled. If you already had it, the Pilot tells you, shows both versions and lets you update or cancel. Liveries and AI drivers now go where AMS2 reads them, your Steam session renews itself (Premium and Patreon kick in without signing out and back in) and, whenever a new version is out, the Pilot tells you as soon as it opens.
Discover the Pilot ManagerPilot Manager now works side by side with Rocky’s Content Manager
11 Oct 2026You can now use Pilot Manager and RockyTM’s Content Manager together without one getting in the other’s way. Modded circuits go straight into the game’s own track list, just like in his app, and modded cars get the same workaround he uses so the game doesn’t trip up when you have lots of them. If his app, a Steam file check or an update touches that list, the Pilot puts your circuits back as soon as you close AMS2. It comes with Pilot Manager 4.5, and your installation switches to the new system on its own the first time you open it with the game closed.

9 Oct 2026Another round of work under the hood, on the website and in the apps. Among other things: notifications reach you in your language, the mobile menu and bar have been reordered around what you visit most, tracks have a cover photo and gallery, track mods keep working when AMS2 updates, and there’s a page explaining what we do with your Steam account. The website also runs more smoothly on several pages. You don’t need to do anything: it’s already live.
Every mod with its author, its licence and its numbers
8 Oct 2026In the mods catalogue you now know who made each one —and, for a conversion, the original author comes first—, what its licence allows in plain words, and how many downloads, votes and races it has. You can support the modder directly or report a mod. And in the Pilot Manager: the “New” tag with its filter, an “Update all” button and a search box on every tab.
See the car modsFour new tracks for AMS2: Pergusa, Slovakia Ring, Zhejiang and Jarama
8 Oct 2026The track catalogue keeps growing: Pergusa, Slovakia Ring, Zhejiang International Circuit and Circuito del Jarama now install in one click from the Pilot Manager, all with their authors’ permission. And on the car side, the Citroën C15 D arrives, along with updated GT1, Le Mans Series and Group C packs.
See the tracksGR League: a fresh standings table every Monday, and trophies for the podium
6 Oct 2026The home page now has the league for the week, the month and the year. Every race you do counts, and finishing well on a big grid is worth more than on a small one. It’s one table for everyone, with each driver’s licence on show, and it starts again every Monday: there’s always a fresh chance. When each period closes, the podium takes a trophy for the cabinet on their profile.
See the leagueModders’ studio: your work, with your name and your numbers
4 Oct 2026If you make mods for AMS2, you now have your own place on GonkyRacing. Sign in with Steam, Google or your email, set up your author page and upload your liveries, cars and tracks so they reach drivers from the website and from the Pilot Manager. You see how many downloads, votes and races each mod adds up, you add your donation link and, if you’d like to see one of your Assetto Corsa mods in AMS2, you can request the conversion.
Go to the studioRooms with mod cars: the Pilot tells you what’s missing and installs it as you join
3 Oct 2026Communities can now run races with mod cars: the Node Manager offers the catalogue’s mod classes to lock them on the server. And in the Pilot Manager the room card warns you with “Mod” and “You’re missing…”: press Join and it installs what you need, with no hunting around by hand. It also suggests the cars the rest of the grid is using and those in the rotation.
Discover the Pilot ManagerGonkyRacing is not just a website any more: it is an app too
24 Sept 2026Pilot Manager 4.0 brings GonkyRacing to your desktop. See which rooms are open and join in one click — it tells you whether you can drive straight away —, open any room to see who is in it, go through the results with the full classification, filter just your races and keep your profile and licence at hand. Plus: track mods installed in one click. Free, for Windows.

24 Sept 2026Charlotte Motor Speedway, Mid-Ohio 2023 and G&J Kartway 2024 now install from the Pilot Manager in a single click. The app prepares the boot files from your own copy of the game — no __bootfiles packages — and installs everything the circuit needs on its own.
See the circuitsPick your race day, and have the sun rise when you want it to
17 Sept 2026With Node Manager 6.4, organisers choose the race date —automatic or by hand— locally, remotely and in their presets. And to get the light right there’s the calculator: it tells you when the sun rises and sets at each track on that day, so the race starts in daylight, at dusk or at night, just as you planned it.
Open the daylight calculatorPace index: how far off you were, on any track
16 Sept 2026Every race page now shows your pace compared with the fastest driver of the session, as a single figure that works just as well at Interlagos as at Spa: so you can compare races with each other and see whether you’re really improving. It’s also worked out for the races you had already done.
See the racesYour own AMS2 server, without creating a community
16 Sept 2026You used to need a registered community to connect a server. Not any more: sign in with Steam in the Node Manager and pick your personal space. Your races count the same — SR, GR, licence, records and history — and you can run the server from the browser, phone included.
Set yours upRunning your community just got easier: ban from the web and write your own welcome
15 Sept 2026You no longer need to be in the game to keep someone out of your server: ban them from the web, with the duration in plain sight, and the server applies it when it starts. Each community can also write what its server says in chat to whoever joins, and your node’s panel installs on your phone like any other app.
Read the community guideAbout: who is behind this, and who deserves the thanks
14 Sept 2026A new screen in Node Manager and Pilot Manager, last in the menu. It carries the version you have installed, how to write to us, our social accounts and the way to support the project. But half of what it says is credit to other people, and that is why it is not buried in Settings: the mods, the liveries and the FFB profiles are not ours, each one keeps its author and a link to where it came from, and support for those authors goes to their pages, not to ours. In Node Manager it also credits Reiza for the game and for its dedicated server.
Download the appsNode Manager 6.0: BOP in remote mode too, and session presets
14 Sept 2026BOP now works with the node in remote mode. Until now you could edit it and save it from the screen without any of it being applied: there is now a single list, what you see is what gets applied, and the server owner sees the BOP that is actually running in their room. Session configuration presets join in too — save them, load them and share them with your community's. And the app tells you when the AMS2 dedicated server has fallen behind, which is what keeps drivers out of the room. 5.x keeps working: nobody is forced to update.
Download Node ManagerPilot Manager 3.0: your laps now stay saved
14 Sept 2026Say hello to My library. The lap you star is copied somewhere of its own, out of reach of the automatic clean-up that until now would take your best lap away after a month of daily running. Laps are kept by track and by car, which is how you think of them, and they still open even if you have deleted the session they came from. On top of that, the history and the library now open with the game closed, the profile has been rebuilt, and the app listens to a single AMS2 even if you have two on the same network.
Download Pilot ManagerAssorted fixes and improvements
12 Sept 2026A broad pass under the bonnet, on the site and in the apps. Among other things: track pages now give the right length and the right name — the Nordschleife says Nürburgring — the positions shown on your profile are worked out correctly, the apps hold up better on Spanish football nights, the site stays quicker when a lot of people are on at once, and the five screens of the node window are each checked before every release. Nothing for you to do: it is already in place.
AMS2 V1.6.9.95 and the September dev update, in your language
12 Sept 2026Reiza's two pieces of news this week, with the official screenshots and translated by hand into all six languages. The update brings a free car, the Panoz Esperante GTR-1, qualifying rules you can configure outside presets in every mode — multiplayer included — private qualifying by class, and fixes for multiplayer crashes. It also renames twenty historic single-seaters, so if you are looking for a Lotus 72E it now goes by a different name.
Read the newsItalian: that makes six languages
12 Sept 2026The whole site, these updates, Node Manager and Pilot Manager now speak Italian. This is not machine translation passed over the top: the two apps' dictionaries — 648 and 598 entries — and the updates already published were written by hand, one by one, and checked against the live site. That makes six: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.
See the site in ItalianThe site speaks your language from the first click
11 Sept 2026When you arrive, the site checks your browser's language and takes you to yours if we have it: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German or Italian. Before, you always landed on the English version and had to switch by hand every time. You can still pick whichever you like from the selector at the top, and your choice is remembered — including when you open the Node Manager window.
Your node, from the browser — and from your phone too
11 Sept 2026The Node Manager window now opens from your community's page on the web, with the same five screens as always: Server, Configuration, Rotation, BOP and Live. You no longer have to be sitting at the PC that runs the server to change something before a race. And on a phone it genuinely works: navigation moves to the bottom, fields take the full width, tables scroll on their own and no name gets cut off. It also inherits the language you picked on gonkyracing.com, so it opens straight into yours.
Go to your communityDownloads, faster and more reliable
8 Sept 2026Getting Node Manager or Pilot Manager no longer stops halfway. The installers now travel over the delivery network under their version name, so they reach you from the point nearest to you instead of crossing the whole tunnel on every download. If you ever ended up with an installer that would not start, or that weighed less than it should, download it again: this was why.
Download the appsCustom FFB: four new profiles, and credit where it is due
8 Sept 2026Four files from OverTake that the collection did not carry are now in, among them Danielkart 1.7, updated in August and with nearly nine thousand downloads. And Pilot Manager gets a Thanks section: until now the app credited whoever archives the collection and none of the twenty-one authors who actually wrote the profiles — which is precisely what every one of their licences asks for. All twenty-one are now named, and the button to support an author takes you to that author's page, not ours. While we were at it we fixed the torque figures we published for several direct-drive bases: that was our own stale data, and it was ruling out profiles that suit you perfectly well.
Read the FFB guideCar catalogue up to date: 41 packs on their latest version
8 Sept 2026All 41 Thunderflash packs move to V4.70, the one its author released on 7 September. The catalogue had been serving V4.65 since January, and 35 of the 41 already had a newer version out there on its own, some of them a long way ahead: Group A Touring had gone from 1.37 to 2.52. A watcher now checks the author's public folder every Monday and tells us which ones have fallen behind, by name and version, instead of just saying something new is out. And one new pack joins the collection: the GT3 Gen0 Alternate.
See the carsTrack days at the Nürburgring, and never again on an empty track
5 Sept 2026Seventeen new track days spread across the calendar through 31 December, with the whole Nürburgring complex covered: Nordschleife, GP, the long combinations and the short variants. Each venue brings the grid its layout can take — 32, 28 or 26 places — and, above all, AI cars. Before, you could join the room and end up lapping on your own; now the grid fills itself whatever time you turn up. That is a hundred and seventeen track days, and never the same one two days running.
See the calendarFollow the news in your usual reader
4 Sept 2026The site now publishes two RSS feeds: one for the news and one for these updates, each of them in all five languages. Add them to your reader and you will hear about new things without having to come and check.
Go to the newsLive timing now runs on the track map
4 Sept 2026On the Live page you see every car where it actually is on track, carrying the same number it has in the timing table. The layout, the sectors, the pit lane and the corner names are layers you switch on and off as you like, and the map rotates and flips so you can read it the way you picture it. It also includes the maps for Imola 2001 and 2005, Spa 2005 and Hockenheim 1977, which until now never showed up.
Open live timingPilot Manager 2.3: build your own AI rival grid
4 Sept 2026A new tab, Rivals, for the AI drivers you race against in single player. You can build the grid from scratch — the names, each driver's car picked from the liveries you already own, and their pace, aggression, defending and mistakes — or open a .zip, .rar or .7z pack and see what is inside before anything touches your game. Installing keeps a copy of your own file, and going back leaves it exactly as it was. It also merges the packs that bring names with the ones that bring skills into a single file, and fits a whole season into one file so you stop swapping files between races. And once you have finished racing it tells you how many of your rivals AMS2 actually loaded, and how many turned up in the car you gave them.
Download Pilot ManagerCustom FFB: 39 community profiles, and Pilot installs them for you
1 Sept 2026John B. Ellis's Custom-FFB Collection, catalogued with his permission: 37 of our 60 wheelbases now show its settings, and you can download the file from each page. Pilot Manager 2.2 installs it for you, detects your base and tells you the exact values to enter in AMS2 — backing up your own file first.
See the FFB guideNode Manager 5.9: the AI fills the grid
31 Aug 2026You can set up the AI opponents from the Server Config screen, and the app warns you before launch if a setting would leave you with none. Includes a fix for the crash when opening Server Config.
