Gonky Racing: the online platform for Automobilista 2
Gonky Racing is a free online platform and ecosystem for the racing simulator Automobilista 2 (AMS2). It runs AMS2 dedicated servers connected to a platform that records ranked races and turns them into driver rankings, a competitive GRating, a Safety Rating, licences, live timing, lap records, championships and communities. Sign-in is free with Steam.
It connects three things that AMS2 keeps separate on its own: the drivers, the communities that organise racing, and the dedicated servers they run — so that every ranked race automatically becomes public stats, ratings and history.
What you can do
Rankings, ratings & statistics
Every ranked race feeds a global driver ranking. Two independent scores measure each driver: the GRating (GR), a pairwise-Elo performance rating, and the Safety Rating (SR), which measures clean driving. Together with the number of ranked races they set the driver licence. Public driver profiles show GR, SR, licence, wins, podiums and full race history.
Live timing, results & records
Watch races running right now with real-time live timing, browse the automatically recorded results of every ranked race, and check lap records by track and car class. Nothing is entered by hand — results come straight from the servers.
Communities & championships
Create or join a racing community with its own public home, members, internal rankings and Discord integration. Communities run scheduled championships with weekly rounds, and a shared calendar lists upcoming races, championships and track days.
Dedicated servers & Node Manager
Gonky Node Manager is a free Windows app that installs and manages an AMS2 dedicated server — yours alone or your community’s: a visual config editor, class and track rotations, live control and a pairing token that connects your server to the platform so its races count towards rankings and stats.
Liveries, mods & Pilot Manager
Gonky Pilot Manager is a free Windows app for drivers: install liveries and compatible content in one click and sign in to your Gonky Racing profile. The platform hosts a catalogue of community liveries and car/track mods, each with its own page, gallery and one-click install.
Key terms
GRating (GR)
A competitive performance rating based on pairwise Elo: every ranked race is a set of 1-v-1 duels against the rest of the field. New drivers start at 700.
Safety Rating (SR)
A 0.00–5.00 score measuring clean, consistent driving from corners-per-incident. New drivers start at 1.25.
Ranked race
Every race run on a connected server is recorded. With 2 or more drivers it already moves GR and SR; only from 6 drivers up does it also count towards licence progression.

How to start
Sign in for free with your Steam account, race on a connected server and your results appear automatically. To run your own races, install Gonky Node Manager and pair your dedicated server — on your own or for a community.
