The R9 V2 refined the successful 9 Nm base by adding a wired data pin to the Quick Release —so it accepts both wireless and wired wheels— and a rear panel with extra ports for pedals and handbrake. It keeps the 180 W servo motor, aviation-grade aluminium chassis and 1000 Hz USB refresh, with a 15-bit encoder. It is still sold as an affordable, balanced 9 Nm option. In Automobilista 2 it is a very versatile base for GT, touring cars and mid-range single-seaters, with plenty of torque for most classes except the most demanding.
