The R3 is the entry point to MOZA Direct Drive. With 3.9 Nm of torque and a direct-drive servo motor, it delivers far more force detail than the geared or belt wheels that dominate the entry segment, in an especially compact, low-consumption aviation-grade aluminium body. Its 15-bit encoder and 1000 Hz USB refresh give a clean signal, with unlimited rotation and desk mounting. It is one of the few DD bases compatible with Xbox (via its licensed bundle) as well as PC. In Automobilista 2 it is fine for getting started in light classes —karts, touring cars, entry formulas— though it falls short of torque for GT3 or high-downforce single-seaters.
