The AB9 is the force feedback base MOZA sells for flight simulation: two servo motors with 12 Nm of peak torque, MCLS technology, a high-resolution encoder, an aviation-grade aluminium chassis and fanless cooling. In sim racing it has a second use, and that is why it is listed here: it is the drive unit of the MOZA Active Shifter. Fit the Active Shifter Knob (€47) and it becomes a genuine force feedback shifter — engagement clicks, resistance and vibration — with H-pattern, sequential and HANDBRAKE modes switchable instantly from MOZA Pit House. The pair costs €576: the AB9 does not include the knob, and the knob is useless without a base.
