Community `ffb_custom_settings.txt` files that document settings for this specific base. They replace the FFB physics, not the in-game menu values.

It goes in Documents/Automobilista 2 and replaces whatever you have. The Pilot Manager installs it for you and keeps a copy of yours.
Or let the Pilot Manager install it
Pick your base, it shows these same values and writes the file for you, keeping a copy of yours first so you can always go back.

Model notes
- Treat it closer to a high-torque DD than a CSL DD.
- If Default+ feels too busy, try Custom with the same Gain range.
Every setting in Fanatec Tuning Menu
What each setting does, its range and what we set for AMS2. Anything without a value, leave at default.

SEN — Sensitivity
For AMS2AUTO
Degrees of rotation. On AUTO the game sets it.
FF — Force Feedback
Default
Maximum motor strength when the game sends FFB.
Model dependent: check the table above.
FEI — Force Effect Intensity
For AMS280 – 100
Intensity and sharpness of effects: 0 is smoothest, 100 sharpest and most direct.
INT — FFB Interpolation
For AMS22 – 4
Smooths the game signal and raises its refresh rate. Higher = smoother.
LIN — FFB LinearityDD only
Default
Linearises the force response. DD bases only.
Natural effects (DD only)
Generated by the BASE, not the game. In AMS2 keep them low.
NDP — Natural DamperDD only
Default
Damping that reacts to wheel acceleration and angle.
Model dependent: check the table above.
NFR — Natural FrictionDD only
For AMS20 – 3
Simulates the mechanical feel of steering components.
NIN — Natural InertiaDD only
For AMS20 – 5
Simulates added weight on the steering axle. Useful with very light rims.
DirectInput effects
Effects the game requests via DirectInput. AMS2 does not use them heavily: leave at 100 unless you want them off.
FOR — Force
For AMS2100%
Scales constant force effects.
SPR — Spring
Default
Scales the spring effect (pulls the wheel to the dynamic centre).
AMS2 barely uses it; the default (100) is harmless.
DPR — Damper
Default
Scales the damper effect requested by the game.
Wheel / pedals
SHO — Shock
Default
Rim rumble motors, if your wheel has them.
BLI — Brake Level Indicator
Default
Vibrates when you reach the brake % you set.
BRF — Brake Force
Default
Brake pedal curve (load cell).
MPS — Multi Position Switch
Default
Mode for the rim multi-position switches.
