What we never store
- Your Steam or Discord password: we use OAuth.
- Banking or payment details.
- Private messages outside Gonky Racing services.
- Data from children under 16; the platform is not intended for them.
About race results
Results form part of the community’s sporting record. When deleting your account you can choose:
- Anonymise and retain: Results remain under “Deleted driver” without personal data. This is the default option.
- Delete everything: Results, laps and incidents are also removed, so historical standings lose those entries.
How to exercise your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability.
- On the website: Use profile settings to edit data, change visibility or delete the account.
- By email: Write to gonkyracing@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep data while the account is active. Accounts inactive for more than three years may be anonymised. Technical logs are deleted within 30 days.
After account deletion we may retain only the Steam ID, deletion date and reason for an active sanction for up to two years. This is used solely to prevent sanction evasion and defend legal claims (GDPR arts. 6(1)(f) and 17(3)(e)). All other personal data is anonymised when the account is deleted.
